CHAPTER SIX

By the time they hit the town that had the brothel Brianna was looking for in it, the sun was beginning to set. It was darker than it would have been otherwise because rain was on the way and clouds were gathering in the skies.

“Looks like it’s gonna rain,” Alex murmured, peering up through the windshield as Brianna pulled off of the highway.

“I hope so,” she replied. “I love rain so much.”

“I do, too.”

“Mmm...that’s something we’ll be able to do together: lay in bed at night after a furious round of fucking and just...listen to the rain, and hold each other.”

“That sounds...perfect,” Alex said.

“I’m glad you think so... there it is,” she replied, and he looked ahead.

Near the end of the road she’d pulled onto was a flashing red neon sign. As they drew closer, he read it: SUCKERS. “You ready to get laid?” she asked.

“I think so,” he replied.

“Just remember. If you really don’t want to do this, you can tell me. I won’t be mad, and I won’t make you sit there and watch while I fuck a vampire or something...I mean, unless that’s what you want. I know how you are about girl-on-girl action. But please let me know, okay? I know that something like this can be really intimidating the first time and I want you to be comfortable with this,” she said, pulling into the parking lot.

They finished parking and she killed the engine. They each grabbed their bags from the back, given that they’d probably be wanting to change clothes at some point during the night or the following morning, then walked across the parking lot to the front entrance.

The big sign was flashing in the dim twilight.

“Definitely gonna rain, it’s getting a lot colder,” Brianna said.

He nodded, feeling a cold breeze on the air. He was definitely looking forward to the rain. It was his favorite weather.

They came in through the front door. For some reason, Alex expected to find a dim, smoky room with loud rock or techno music blaring over speakers, but what he found was pretty much the opposite. It looked more like a reception area or a waiting room.
